Upgrade Your Aging Brivo Access Panels

Select Brivo panels are reaching end of life, and will no longer be supported. To avoid service disruptions, upgrade to a newer, more advanced access panel before February 28, 2026.

Brivo is officially retiring the ACS5000-MBE, ACS5000-Edge, and ACS-IPDC-E products on FEBRUARY 28, 2026.

 

After this date, these panels will no longer communicate with Brivo’s cloud system and will no longer be supported by Brivo Technical Support.

To avoid service disruptions, we recommend upgrading to a newer, more advanced access panel before the February 28, 2026.

If you currently use the Brivo ACS5000-MBE Control Panel, consider upgrading to the ACS6000 series hardware.

 

The Brivo ACS6000 series hardware is our next generation of native IP control panels designed to support components of the Brivo Access and Brivo Onsite Server access control platforms.

By upgrading legacy hardware, customers can gain access to the following features:

  • Remote support capabilities, including firmware updates, panel reboots, and the ability to clear panel caches and reset door/IO boards remotely for faster issue resolution and reducing on-site service calls
  • Advanced security measures, including BOT detection and Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) countermeasures, and modern encryption protocols (TLS 1.3) for enhanced security
  • Smart access features, including mobile credentials via Brivo Mobile Pass and Wallet Pass with Brivo Smart readers (additional subscriptions required)
  • Wireless lock integrations, including compatibility with Allegion, Assa Abloy, and more (ACS6000 and ACS300)
