Mass Notification Solutions

Intelligible low- and high-powered speakers, distinctive sirens, pre-recorded voice instructions, digital signage, and other technologies can give employees and building occupants specific and clear directions for what to do in an emergency. Everon™ can provide a wide range of notification systems and communication solutions for many different scenarios.

Mass Warnings and Notifications in Emergencies

Notify building occupants, first responders, and key stakeholders how to respond in the event of an emergency.

The objective of mass notification systems is to protect lives by indicating the existence of an emergency situation and instructing people about the necessary and appropriate response and action. By providing real-time information and instructions to people in a building, area, site, or installation using intelligible voice communication along with visible signals, text, graphics, and possibly tactile or other communication methods, we are able to help communicate the presence of the emergency and provide next steps leading people to safety.

Seconds count in an emergency, and personnel in and around your facilities need to be informed immediately and clearly about an emerging crisis and the actions they should take in response. Intelligent alarm systems with voice notification capabilities that connect to our UL Listed, TMA Five Diamond Certified monitoring centers can help protect your people and properties by providing real-time alerts and information.

Mass Notification Integration Solutions

It is imperative to provide intelligent and effective communication to employees and guests about crisis situations, including fires, weather alerts, shelter-in-place orders, lockdown or evacuation notices, and even active shooter notifications. Mass notification and emergency communication systems can alert people in a number of ways via integration, which includes lighting, speakers, digital signage, telephone systems, cell phones, email, SMS, social networks, computer pop-ups, and wireless devices. Our mass notification solutions can help employees and visitors act calmly and swiftly in an emergency by providing clear, simple directions and information. Everon's mass notification integration is designed to take advantage of a customer’s existing emergency communication infrastructure, then help enhance their environment by adding additional emergency devices to fill in the gaps.

Integrating Mass Notification and Emergency Alert Systems

Everon provides a comprehensive in-building and wide-area notification system that notifies individuals across facilities, using a variety of methods and notification channels. This integration is designed to leverage existing infrastructure while enhancing the environment by adding additional emergency devices as needed.

Everon can send audio and video alerts to groups of IP phones. You can send an alert through the user interface or by picking up a phone, dialing the designated extension, and speaking—or you can send a pre-recorded emergency message programmed on a hotkey.

Everon can send alerts to digital signage displays to supplement other types of alerts. It’s also a great way to make alerts accessible for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Everon can send alerts to groups of police/security radios when you need to notify law enforcement or security officers of an emergency in your organization. Alerts are delivered as one-way audio broadcasts.

Everon can leverage Zoom, WebEx, or Microsoft Teams to trigger InformaCast messages by typing in certain commands. You can also tie-in with these platforms to bring together key stakeholders in a shared space to manage crisis situations.

During an emergency, mobile notifications can request a response to see who is safe, who needs help, and who is able to assist. In non-emergency situations, this function can help fill shifts or alert supervisors that a factory line has stopped. Recipients can reply regardless of how they received the notification (e.g., push, SMS, call, or email). Senders can see that response and follow-up with real-time notifications using the mobile app.

Everon can send text and audio alerts to computer workstations. The alerts appear in a pop-up window that you can customize with your company’s logo and colors. InformaCast also provides an option for people to respond.

Though integration, Everon can utilize any brand of voice evacuation fire alarm system speakers to broadcast emergency mass notification messages. It can also work the other way around, with a fire alarm event triggering all visible signals, text, graphics, and any other existing customer infrastructure.

Performance-Based Design Services

Performance-based design is the application of science and engineering to design fire and life safety systems based on specific characteristics of a building, rather than simply designing to meet prescriptive building and fire codes.
