Authorized individuals may use eSuite to add new contacts or edit existing contacts on the site ‘Notify List’, or, reach out to Everon’s customer support team for assistance via email or call us at 844-538-3766.

Yes. All messages for Burglar alarm notifications will be sent from short code 90482. Contacts are encouraged to store the number as “Everon” in their phone directory for easy recognition.
Response & Actions
Phone calls will stop once a SMS text command has been given by one of the site contacts. Based on the timing of events, there may be cases where a verification call is carried out at the same time that a text command is received. We always encourage answering calls from the monitoring center to ensure quick and accurate handling.
Yes! To cancel an alarm event, reply with the letter “C” or the word “Cancel”. To request police dispatch, reply with the letter “D” or the word “Dispatch”. You will receive text confirmation that the command was successful, and all other site contacts will be notified that you took action on the alarm.
A phone call will still be placed to the contacts on the call list. The SMS texts are an additional notification method, not a replacement.
Everon Messenger timestamps commands down to the millisecond. The first command received will be processed. The contact who submitted the second command will receive a notification that their command could not be completed, along with instructions to call Everon for more information. They will also receive the confirmation of who took action first, and what action that was taken.
Reliability & Security
SMS texts are typically delivered within seconds of the alarm event.
You will not receive the SMS text until service is restored. Voice calls will still be placed to attempt contact.
Messages are sent via SMS from a dedicated short code (90482) for easy recognition. You will not be required to click on any links, nor provide any sensitive information such as panel codes or PINs.
Compliance & Records
Yes. Texts are used as an additional notification method and do not replace required verification steps.
You can copy the text and send, but only designated Burglar alarm contacts will be able to take action on active alarms via text.
Your phone carrier keeps delivery history, and our monitoring center logs all alarm notifications. SMS text response commands to cancel or dispatch will appear in alarm history logs. All other text correspondence is securely stored on our private platform.
Cost & Support
There is no added charge from our service, though standard carrier text rates may apply. Please see SMS Text terms and conditions here.
Contact the Everon support team to confirm your number is active in the system.

Yes. If you previously opted out via text, you may send a SMS text to short code 90482 with the word “start”. You will receive confirmation that you have been re-enrolled in Everon Messenger.
Not at this time. Replying “STOP” will remove you from the Everon Messenger SMS text service completely for all sites, not just for a specific location.
