Flushing Bank needed a surveillance solution that would help them visually verify events to help reduce false alarms while providing cloud access for streamlined investigations.

Based in New York City, NY, Flushing Bank operates 30 branches and serves many of the city's boroughs, including Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Long Island. They've been a staple in their community for nearly 100 years, helping individuals, families, and businesses thrive financially through reputable, trustworthy, banking practices.

Because their previous solution didn’t have cloud capabilities, their organization was limited in terms of how effectively they could carry out investigations.

  • Remote Access: Due to numerous locations and team members, Flushing Bank needed a solution that could enable them to check the status of individual banks during incidents or access recorded video from wherever they are.

Flushing Bank utilized OpenEye Web Services to equip their organization with remote cloud-based features. Because their previous solution lacked web connectivity, Everon recommended the switch to a cloud video system to unlock new time-savings opportunities. This included the ability to remotely export and share video clips, which significantly lowered the amount of time needed during investigations due to how quickly video could be accessed and shared with law enforcement.

By leveraging pre-installed third-party cameras, Flushing Bank was able to get more out of their initial security investment. This also allowed the Everon team to quickly deploy the new solution with little downtime during installation. Additionally, their team was also able to save resources by negating the need for extra guards during this time due to the speed of OWS’ deployment.
