Everon’s Brian Bennett and Patrick Fleming are among 10 winners for the fourth annual 2026 Security Technician of the Year Award.
The award, presented by the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), honors the critical contributions of security technicians within the industry. FAST is a 501(c)(3) organization established by the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and Security Industry Association (SIA) to support students, job seekers, and professionals in developing critical skills and gaining access to meaningful career opportunities within the security industry.
This tremendous achievement marks Everon’s fifth recognition by FAST, and the second year that two technicians in the organization were named winners by the nonprofit. Both expert technicians have made significant contributions to the design, deployment, and sustained maintenance of critical systems that enhance the safety and security of Everon’s customers and their communities.
Brian Bennett, Commercial Service Master Technician, was recognized for his meaningful impact on Everon’s business by building deep customer trust across territories and strengthening relationships with some of the company’s most important National Accounts. Everon’s nationwide presence allowed for Brian’s reputation to extend well beyond the Los Angeles area he serves and frequently support national initiatives, including testing and helping shape the rollout of critical technician platforms.
Patrick Fleming, Commercial Install Tech II, has achievements that highlight a consistent commitment to excellence, outstanding customer service, and leadership. His most notable contribution was serving as the lead technician on a major National Accounts bank conversion project, where Everon converted 80 bank locations across six states in fewer than 90 days, meeting strict ATM and alarm conversion deadlines.
Brian and Patrick’s accomplishments reflect a strong and consistent alignment with the core values at the center of Everon’s philosophy, setting a high standard of performance and professionalism for technicians across the industry.
